Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital's Licensed Athletic Trainers are contracted to area high schools, providing coverage at both practices and sporting events.  Our trainers work with coaches, athletes and parents to educate in injury prevention techniques, as well as provide rehabilitation if injuries occur.

Our sport rehabilitation care includes:

• Licensed Athletic Trainers — working to prevent and assess injuries
• Expert Emergency Care — teams on duty
• Orthopaedic Surgeons — treating injuries and accelerating healing
• Physical and Occupational Therapists — delivering effective rehabilitation

The Kansas State High School Athletic Association (KSHSAA) has a Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form (and KSHSAA Eligibility Check-list) in place to be used by providers when performing physicals.  Most providers will have copies of the form, but for those who wish to review/print prior to arriving at the provider, we’ve made a copy available for download right here.
